When to plant carrots
Sow directly in the garden from 4 weeks before to 1 week after the last spring frost. For a fall crop, sow 10 weeks to 12 weeks before the first fall frost. Keep the seedbed moist until they sprout, which can take two weeks.
Half-hardy: takes a light frost.
